Story

A few of us (clearly) over confident people have signed up to compete (we do use that term loosely) in this year’s WildEndurance 100km walking event taking place on 3 - 4 May in the Blue Mountains to support the work of The Wilderness Society.

Yes that’s right, 4 misguided individuals will be walking, maybe some running (hopefully no crawling) for 100km all day and night for charity to help the environment. Our lovely 100km stroll will include climbing mountains, scaling ladders, fording rivers, wrestling rogue wombats as well as the expected aches, pains, cramps, chaffing (it’s ok, one member of the team already has some ‘salve’ for this) and blisters.

Basically, we would like as many people as possible to support our team, the GRIFFITH bushwHACKers, and the environment (baby koala’s are people too you know). You will receive a tax receipt in your inbox shortly thereafter.

Thanks for your support!

Regards

    The Wilderness Society Inc

The Wilderness Society works to protect Australia’s remaining wilderness areas from destruction – iconic places like the Kimberley, Cape York and the Tasmanian forests.  We are a national, community-based, environmental advocacy organisation using every peaceful means possible to secure a healthy environment for future generations – from mobilising the community through to driving world-class science and exploring sustainable economic solutions. Being independent means we rely entirely on the ongoing support and commitment of people like you for our success in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment. We provide a voice for nature at a time when this could not be more crucial.
